  XPERTHR PAY DATA UNCOVERED
Sheila Attwood, Editor

XpertHR contains a host of information for those working in the pay and benefits field. The website includes: the largest sample of UK pay deals; in-depth analysis of, and comment on, pay settlement trends; and salary survey data. We start the year with a guide to pay services on XpertHR. Our services have been greatly enhanced since CELRE, the salary survey company, become part of XpertHR in April 2008.

We also highlight the main elements of the Employment Act 2008, many of which will come into force during 2009. These include a number of changes to the enforcement rules surrounding the national minimum wage.

Other top stories in this issue include:

  Redundancy management

IRS is conducting a major survey investigating how organisations manage redundancy. Participating in our research will enable your organisation to benchmark its redundancy practices and experiences, including redundancy compensation, and will entitle you to a free copy of the report later in the year.
