For the past few years, we have seen employers seek to make cost savings by reducing their reward budget - either through making redundancies, freezing pay or reducing spend on pay and benefits more generally.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
For the past few years, we have seen employers seek to make cost savings by reducing their reward budget - either through making redundancies, freezing pay or reducing spend on pay and benefits generally. However, as our research demonstrates, employers have adopted a number of strategies to ensure they are making the most of their pay and benefits spend and have kept employees engaged in the process.

With the first pensions auto-enrolment staging date just around the corner, now is a good time for smaller employers to start thinking about how it will affect their organisations. The Personnel Today webinar on auto-enrolment includes useful information on what HR professionals should be doing now to prepare for their staging date, as well as examples of how other organisations are preparing.
