PAY BARGAINING PRIORITIES
The fragile state of the economy is likely to continue to be a key factor influencing pay bargaining. However, while our data has revealed that pay settlement levels are likely to remain stable over the coming year, wage bargainers in many sectors will be working hard just to achieve settlements to match those made in 2012.

This issue contains two reports looking at the likely course of wage bargaining in the services and manufacturing sectors. Within these broad groups, individual industries will be facing different issues over the coming year and wage bargainers will have to react accordingly.

Visit XpertHR to access all our resources on pay setting in 2013, including a sector-by-sector analysis of pay setting over the past year as well as individual forecasts for pay awards.
