 GREEK EMPLOYMENT LAW OUTLINED

In this issue of European Employment Review, we continue our series of guides to national employment law, the latest of which is Greece.

Our guides aim to provide a concise overview of the main points of employment law, as the first point of reference for practitioners and researchers with an interest in a specific country. The Greece guide sets out the key elements of the law as it applies to:

  • recruitment and selection;
  • pay and benefits;
  • employee rights;
  • contracts of employment;
  • training and development;
  • equal opportunities;
  • industrial relations;
  • health and safety; and
  • termination of employment.

Employment law guides are also available for Ireland and Poland. Further countries will be added in the coming months.
